The arcane scepter begins in Darkmountain Tomb. To gain access to the tomb you must pick up the mining pick in the goblin camp of Darkmountain Pass and use it on the rubble further in. Interact with the scepter in the tomb to start the quest.

Walkthrough
Tip: If the path to Darkmountain Tomb is sealed off by rubble, find the Pickaxe in the Goblin camp nearby to unseal it


# Take one of the nearby entrances to Darkmountain Undercroft.
 
# Interact with the crystal in the big chamber.
Walkthrough:
# Kill the imps that spawn.
- Enter Darkmountain Undercroft (any side) and search for the keystone (it will be a blue crystal)
# A new path has opened up. Follow that and take the first left.
- Clear the path until you reach the Impicus
# Interact with the barrel.
- Defeat Impicus and obtain the keystone
# Go back and take a left. Go up the stairs and defeat the imp.
 
# Go back to where the arcane scepter is placed and interact with it to claim your reward!
Upon defeating Impicus, return to the Arcane Scepter in Darkmountain Tomb to complete the quest
